head-over-heels-crazy for the Beatles they don't listen to any type of Beatles music in the film(Where's the White Album?!)save for the (great)remake of "Helter Skelter." Just wanted to point this out. :)

I think that was more due to a lack of permission. I know that in the book, George Harrison wouldn't even give permission for them to print the lyrics to "Piggies".

John Lennon also refused permission for certain things i think the only one of the Beatles who was ok with it was McCartney

you would think he wouldn't want to cause HE wrote Helter Skelter....

the original version of the movie had several cover versions of Beatles songs in it.
