Actually, I have always thought that Susan was one of those people who got more attractive with age.
Susan appeared better looking with age because she was able to take advantage of prison beauty salons, and she probably had a better diet behind bars than she did with the family.
With the family, there was no makeup, health care, and she was eating rotting food from grocery store dumpsters.
Pretty sad state of affairs, when one can live a better life in prison than they did on the outside. Especially considering her crime..
