Is it worth getting now?

I am a huge fan of GTA V but I have never gotten to play this one and I really want too. With V out now, is it worth buying this on the xbox marketplace? Or should I just stick with GTA V?

It is definitively worth buying, for the story alone. It doesnt feature online mode but it has had pretty great story and graphics. Gameplay is amazing and you might find some familiar streets and buildinvs which were reused in V.

Thank you so much! I am really excited to get this after I beat V. I mostly do play for the story so that's not a problem.

Absolutely. I haven't played GTA V yet, but San Andreas is a lot more fun to play than GTA IV.

Shame you brought it really as it's now been replaced with a HD remake...unless you want to buy it again.

GTA: San Andreas is a great game. I'm playing it again right now. The graphics and game play is inferior to GTA: V, but that is to be expected from a game made a decade earlier and made for the previous generation of console. That being said I will repeat -- it is a great game, which still holds up well over a decade after it was released.

Yes, the storyline is really, really good. Easily, a lot better than GTA IV. GTA IV is easily the worst of the GTA series (not counting the top-down games).

I have not once seen this game on pc sold anywhere in games shop,But if i did it would get it GTA San Andreas was the best GTA game i ever played i wouldn't get any other GTA game after play this GTA i never wanted to play GTA Vice City again.

this is the best game in the series. i love gta 5 and gta online but they are nothing compared to this masterpiece. i was a kiddo when i first played this game so i may be a bit biased

This game is timeless. So is GTA: Vice City.
