Totally unexpected

I rented this on a whim not expecting much. Boy was I wrong. I loved every bloody, goofy, offbeat minute of Evil Aliens.

Same vein as Bad Taste, Dead Alive, etc.

Good stuff!

Agreed. I bought it in London a few months ago even though I thought it looked dull and cheesy, but boy was I wrong. Yup, it's cheesy - in a good way.

Fun, extremely brutal and gory, fast-paced and entertaining - a very good homage to 80's splatter flicks definitely.

Loved it.

I remember seeing the trailer for it and thinking "Whoa, my type of movie, gotta see!" so months later I downloaded it and watched it and loved it. :)
I didn't like the first 30 minutes of the movie much, but when it hits off, it's really really great for us gorefest lovers. It has the right humor, the right style...
Too many good things to be named. I wish more movies like this would be made.

I bought it in Asda for £3. Best film i've seen in ages, and the DVD extras were top notch too.

Funny, gory but not in a disturbing way, it's got loads of Aliens references, hot chicks. Most of the stunts were it seems done "for real" and it shows- in the scenes where people are interacting with things, it seems quite tangible. The CGI that there is is surprisingly good, and used for stuff like the alien spaceship.

To me, this really is a good example of British horror. It's ne of the funniest ones I've seen and it was one of the goriest films until I saw Piranha 3D which hands down beats this for gore, mutilation and tits xD
I think this is the sort of film critics automatically hate, and certain people jump on that bandwagon, not giving it a chance when watching it hence the 5.5 in all honesty this film is on the same level as Piranha 3D and deserves at least a 7.4

Tyler; Piranha 3DD
