Dreyfus chugging the Pepto-Bismol *spoiler*

On Valentine's Day, I bought the special edition version of The Pink Panther. On the deleted scenes section, it shows Dreyfus drinking Pepto-Bismol right out of the bottle while watching Clouseau give a press conference and then belching afterward. Oh, well. Better for him to have ulcers than to be sent to Happy Acres!

I laughed right out loud because it was funny and it brought back a childhood memory to me.

Back in the early 1980's, when I was just a kid, my mother and I were friends with a 90-something-year-old church lady that lived up the street from us. Every single day, she'd ask her to buy her a bottle of Milk of Magnesia. My mother would ask what had happened to the bottle she bought her the other day, she said she drank it all down at one sitting! When we talk about it now, we laugh because that's probably what kept her going to the ripe old age of 102! She died in 1992! That, and not having a doctor.
