The Pink Panther 2006 is a perfect movie to watch with The Naked Gun trilogy because not only does it share a similar style of humor but also depicts a detective that's considered a bumbling detective and is looked down upon by his superiors much like Frank Drebin in Naked Gun. The two detectives create a hilarious trail of messes while trying to solve their cases and both end up prevailing and proving their naysayers wrong. While Steve Martins Pink Panther film doesn't compare to the original Peter Sellers classics, it still manages to be reasonably entertaining and fits in nicely with The Naked Gun trilogy and Miss Congeniality.
