If you want to know what the Touching Evil fuss is about...

Touching Evil was such a great show. I truly love Jeffrey Donovan in Burn Notice but his character in this show was so rich. He gets to show so much more emotion, humor and internal conflict with the David Creegan character.

The chemistry with Vera Farmiga was amazing too, AND Bradley Cooper joins the cast about 3 or 4 episodes in.

USA should never have cancelled it but at least there's one season to enjoy. Would love to see JD back in a role like this soon.

I was truly starting to think that I was the only person in the world who was looking for this show! I'll have to try that link later. I purchased the UK version figuring that like with almost all US adaptations of UK shows, the original UK version had to be much better. Personally, I like the US version a lot more. The UK version was good but was basically a police procedural (albeit a dark, well-written, well-acted one).

The playlist link above will auto play all the episodes consecutively. But each video is only like 10 or 12 minutes. The video quality isn't the greatest but still worth watching. Such a good show. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

Thank you for letting me know how it will work and for the warning regarding the quality. I also have been looking without any luck. If I ever find out it's being released, I'll let you know.

Honestly, I would have thought it would have been released by know -- then I think of the delay for WKRP.... 

You're welcome and yes, please do let me know. I'd sort of given up so your WKRP reference gives me hope. :)

I do have all the episodes in digital form. Half of them aren't great and are from the original USA Network broadcasts. But the other half I recorded off ITV1 HD and so are high def. If anyone wants them (no charge!), let me know as I'm happy to spread the Touching Evil love!

I'd love to see them. My recorder cut off the last 10 mins of the final ep. been left wondering how it ended. You can email me at [email protected]

Oh, yeah. Re: your comment about the US version being better. I SO agree! I also tried to watch the other series but it was after I'd already seen the US version and I found the British version to be much drier. The funny thing is, I've read the same thing by numerous Brits who loved the original but actually liked the US version even more. Honestly, the cast was amazing, and JD played Creegan to perfection. Such a fascinating character. Too bad USA couldn't stick with it. That show could still be on if they'd let the audience find it. I have a feeling people weren't ready for the darkness implied by the title back then, probably would be all about it today. :) Considering where television has gone with all the Law & Order, CSI type series (not to mention Dexter!), this show had way more humor than any of these shows do today.

The casting people for this show were brilliant. Just look at the stellar people who were more or less nobody's back then that were involved with this program. It takes a real gift to be able to spot talent like that and organize a cast this stunning on a budget.

Excellent observation!
