If you've noticed a different look to the show, it's because they are now using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera as the A camera. Pretty cool that a camera that costs $1,000 is the main camera for a TV show, and actually looks more cinematic than what they had been using in the past.

I have noticed that the cinematography is much better than it was in earlier seasons...too bad what it's showing is so much more lame... :(
shareYeah, it's too bad. The show has much better production values in the final season, but there's so much revisiting of myths that it's despite looking great it's not as engaging as past episodes. The previous episode really only tackled 1 myth, and then in the final act they changed an ingredient to make it into a 2 myth show.
