Retest of the birds overbalancing the car.

I never know what season or episode is being shown here in Australia, but this one had the more precise setup of the 'birds' landing in the basket on the bonnet (hood) of the limo as it sat on the ramp on the edge of the quarry.

My problem was this; they seemed to spend some time finding the balance point of the car, it was supposedly between the two pieces of tape. But when they set the car up on the ramp, the edge of the ramp seemed to be about 6 or 8 inches forward of the balance point of the car.

Did I miss something, or does that explain why it took so much weight to overbalance the car?
