Christine

I'm watching the show on Netflix from the beginning, and I noticed how Christine looks like some kind of an outsider.

First there was that time Jamie put her down by saying "she doesn't know how to do anything" - when she messed up building something. I think it was rather tasteless to include in the aired edit Jamie busting her ass for a mistake. This was right at the beginning when they introduced the other hosts besides Jamie and Adam.

Then there are a bunch of episodes with Kari, Scottie and Tori working together in a smaller myth, while Christine is usually with Adam and Jamie. She's almost never with the younger team. She starts appearing less and less in episodes, while the "building team" increasingly gets camera time.

Then during the exploding port-a-potty episode, you can see Christine in the background and she's even mentioned by name once, but the camera is always focused on Kari, Scottie and Tori. The three of them seem like a tight group and she looks like the outsider. I wonder why that is. I did notice that she seems to have an "attitude", scowling a lot. Or maybe she was just camera shy?
