Why call it quits?

I've heard different reasons as to why the show ceased production.

Does anyone here know for certain as to why they called it quits?

Jesus is the Son of God and my Lord and savior. Pretty cool.

Apparently both principals had lost intrest. Adam has become the "poster child" for makers and accessible science. I have no idea what Jamie is doing but back to movie effects sounds reasonable

Officially, Jamie and Adam lost interest, and wanted to move onto other stuff. Unofficially, they are just plain sick of each other. I have no idea why the Build Team left first.

From what I remember at the time, Discovery Channel had cut the budget in the last season, so they couldn't afford to keep the build team on.

They had been on so long that they were kind of scrounging around for myths to bust. The show had evolved into a lot of just blowin' stuff up.

Adam has a youtube channel i think i see them pop up.

Did you see the Gummi Bears episode? You can't imagine two TV show hosts more bored and more contemptuous of each other.
