The scam on Perry was 100% real. I heard about it years before Windy City Heat was even a gleam in Jimmy Kimmel's eye. From what I understand, Perry was NOT in on the joke even during the filming. It's unclear whether he knows even now--Perry is not the brightest of bulbs.

You know, that doesn't change the fact that this movie was just terribly awful and unfunny.
shareyeah. only it doesn't have to change that "fact". because that isnt a fact at all. this movie is hilarious.
shareHands down, this is the worst movie I've ever seen. There are a few funny scenes, but overall, it was SO un-funny that I had to keep asking myself why I was wasting my time watching it.
Honestly, who would spend so much time and money setting something like this up?
