Do not believe anything you read here.

I like both Seth Meyers and John Cho, and I am not a troll. But:

This movie is not good. It is not clever, it is not hilarious, it is not good. It's weird, but it's not good. Do not rent this movie. If I could get back the money paid for this movie, I would.

Do not "see this movie".

So, were not supposed to believe anything we read here? So, that means we can't believe what you wrote here, and I won't.

But then, if you don't believe what I wrote here, you must believe what you read here. And if you do that, then you can't believe what you read here.

Quite the conundrum, Riddler.

Disagree strongly. It's an excellent film. While most ultra-low-budget movies outright suck eggs, this is only micro-budget film I've ever seen that actually makes the genre work. This wouldn't work as a studio film, but on a shoestring budget, it's a near masterpiece. Don't miss it.

Movies like this make me hate movies. I like myers and the other guy but I hated this movie. It was not funny at all and towards the end it pained me, so sorry but if you liked this movie i do not think you know what a good movie is

reply

You're utterly absurd to say someone doesn't know what a good movie is because he or she doesn't agree with you. Where is it written that your opinion is paramount? And as long as you're holding yourself up as a paragon of the aesthetic, try using syntax that doesn't sound like a failing middle-school student. "It pained me" isn't saying much as far as constructive criticism.

I liked this movie a lot. Most filmmakers would, I guess. I found it to be quite funny.

And blond Simon Cowell (Jim Piddock) had a strange sexiness about him.

Yes he did! Why is that? Jim Piddock couldn't be more unassuming in the Christopher Guest movies (Best in Show, A Mighty Wind)... and here he comes off as this totally sexy guy. He reminded me of Simon Cowell in this movie too -- and that's not a comparison I'd ever make based on any of his other film roles. Something about his swagger in this movie - I literally swoon at that scene in the bathroom.

I agree, the movie was pretty forgetable. I thought there were a few funny parts - especially the part where Seth Meyers is at the filmmaker's forum--
"Movies are like a bunch of moving pictures...I want to do something to your eyes- whether it be make them cry, make them laugh, put little pieces of glass in them..." hahaha that was the only part that made me really laugh out loud.

Otherwise, I think the acting was poor. I think Seth Meyers did well- I wanted to see a little more of John Cho though. I think the base of this film had a lot of potential, but it seems like they didn't develop it enough. Its almost like the film they were trying to make in the movie - It was rushed and not thought out as well as it should have been.

I may go back to hating you. It was more fun. -Cary Grant in North By Northwest
