didnt work as a drama, comedy or animation

The characters were flat and boring. The jokes were unfunny. It appeals to chefs, bjt really i dont give a rats ass, pun intended about how much you can recognize this was just a mess of a movie. Remy was bland and i really hated him. Such a snob. I hated colette, she was offensive to women and the french. This was just not done with any passion. We dont care about tve characters. The uncredibles had the same problem. So did finding neno imho which was saccarine and awful. Toy story123, brave, monsters inc. Those had engaging characters. BrVe was mediocre but i cared. This is not a good movie

What's with this "we" stuff? You have a right to feel any way you want to about a movie, but don't assume that everyone agrees with you. Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles are all good movies and you not liking them doesn't change that.

If everything is not all rainbows and kittens for you today, hopefully it will be tomorrow!

IMHO "Ratatouille" works better as a drama than a comedy. There are laughs but they aren't non-stop, it's really about becoming an artist, and the emotional heart of the film is Ego's monologue about where great artists come from.

A lot of Pixar films aren't really comedies, even if they do have some funny stuff included. "Wall-E" is a drama if ever there was one, same for "Finding Nemo", and "The Incredibles" is an adventure film more than a comedy.

It's actually a huge success that definitely worked.
One of the most mature and interesting animated movies ever made.
