I was a bit confused by the conclusion of this film. Who were Ray, Jonny, and Tracy buying the drugs from? Why did Steven show up? Why did he let them leave?
Where was the person selling them the drugs?
I was bit distracted when I saw this and thought it was a strong film up until this confusing ending.

They were buying the drugs from Steven. When Lionel showed up unannounced at The Jockey's house he finked on Steven; who was selling behind The Jockey's back.
Steven showed up and killed The Jockey (that was his blood on the bed). Steven let Ray, Jonny and Tracy leave because they refused to give him the money. Furthermore, stated they would go to the Police if he took the money, so he let them go otherwise he would of had to kill all three.
The part you missed was actually the best part of the movie.
it's also hinted that Tracy might be able to get the loan after all, since Lionel passed his house to her and her family in his will. one of the main obstacles was that she didn't have any collateral. she does now
share
