Did anyone think that this plot was very similar to skeleton key?? A middle aged woman conning a young skeptic into giving up her soul to make the woman live longer? I majestic house. An older crazy man. I haven't finished watching it...cause it's BBBBBOOOOORING...but I am betting that her boyfriend turns against her.

no, and this movie is not boring is a solid gothic horror movie

I haven't even watched the end yet but the moment I saw the painting of Mary Ellen Cassi in the hallway I had a distinct feeling that it was going to be something along the lines of this. It was all very text book. I don't even need to watch it to the end now :)
