Homage to 'Days of Heaven?'

None of the IMDb reviewers or messages comment on the remarkable cinematographic resemblance of this film to Terrence Malick's 1978 "Days of Heaven." Both begin with the male lead working at the mouth of a blast furnace, and then both go on to l-i-n-g-e-r over beautiful, perfectly framed interiors and calender art exteriors. They could have brought this one in at under 90 minutes by cutting five to ten seconds off each scene.
