the mother committed suicide and and tried to drown her daughter along w/ her, and that she flooded the place?! The 2002 version made more since at the end!

I know the apartment upstairs being messed up was real, same w/ the girl in the well water tower, but do they know the pipes burst again, We know what happened but does everyone else or Do they think the mom Drowned her self while trying to drown her daughter along w/ her?!

It made more since in the Japanese Version the following scene took place years later and the Apartment was in much rougher shape, While in the American Version it was weeks later, and the place looked like it had only slight water damage.

S0 does the Husband and rental agent and Lawyers think it was a failed Murder/Suicide attempt,with the suicide being successful?!
