Did anyone else find this a bit repulsive? (SPOILERS)

Manolo comes back from digging up a dead child's body and for one split second, he looks completely traumatized and we think this is going to be a really emotional scene.....................Then he and the producer's wife begin having sex, for Pete's sake! Ok, it's nasty enough that they ripped their clothes off and began screwing mercilessly while he was covered in SWEAT, but add to that the fact that the man just dug up a dead body and you have yourself a really ugly picture. I don't know about any of you, but if I'd been through what he'd just been through, sex would be the farthest thing from my mind. Was that scene really neccessary? It did nothing but make me think less of the two reporters.

I felt the same way, until you get to the end of the movie and realize what a snake Manolo was. He expoited the situation that his producer was being sympathetic and that they were both vulnerable at that moment. He used her and she knows it. Just like he used the serial killer to get "the story of the year" which would make him a TV star. But at the end, it backfires and he's the one who's going to have to look at himself in the mirror and realize that he's a phony.
