Not as good as the original special, but with reason

Charles Schultz's Will stated that no new Peanuts based story line
could be produced pas this death, but there was no stipulation that old
strips could not be strung together into a new animated special. Going
by those rules, the producers did a fairly good job. It doesn't compare
to "A Charlie Brown Christmas", but it's not horrible either.
