I miss this show...

At the time when Viva La Bam was a popular TV show on MTV...seems like an entirely different universe compared to shows that MTV has nowadays. When I was younger, I looked forward to every single episode. Even though the show was basically mindless entertainment (as well as the prelude to Bam's downfall into alcoholism), it's still a classic series. There were so many episodes that were downright hilarious. Don Vito was my favorite character. Even as an adult, I still think Viva La Bam was an awesome show. And it's a shame that it's not a popular show anymore. I mean, I realize the show itself was just bound to come to an end. How long could Bam and his group of maniacs continue on with the pace they were going at? And yeah...I know, the show was probably scripted. But then again, all reality tv shows are scripted to a certain degree. But Viva La Bam was such an epic reality tv show. I guess for the younger generation who weren't around to experience the show's popularity...they simply wouldn't understand. MTV actually used to be awesome, with shows like Jackass, and Wild Boys. MTV just isn't the same anymore without those shows. But like I said, it would be pretty much impossible for those shows to continue on. Looking back now, Viva La Bam was basically a show about a rich crazy drunk skateboarder terrorizing his parents, coming up with crazy stunts, and doing epic pranks. But hey, that's what made the show so awesome. And by the way, I think it's sad that Ryan Dunn and Don Vito are dead. In fact, it's kinda sad to see what happened to the entire Jackass crew. But it was good while it lasted.
