Has anyone seen this?
I'm a big fan of Jim Wynorski's movies and Kiara Hunter especially. Does anyone know if it’s available on DVD in Canada yet?

I rented this movie at 11:30 pm from blockbuster. I returned it and rented a different movie before they closed at midnight. The CGI in the first 2 minutes was so bad I couldn't bear to waste another second of my life on this crap. Godzilla movies from the 1960s have more believable effects.
shareWhoa, this was one of the worst movies I've seen. Usually, I like to give a movie the benefit of the doubt, you know, try to find something good in it, but this movie... I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. They should just destroy it; I'm sure nobody would miss it.
shareOnto the original posters question. Yes, this movie is available in DVD in Canada. I an in Canada and just picked it up from Walmart (for $4.88).
sharethe idea of the movie was really good. with the whole creature transforming to what its victim liked but other than that it was a terrible movie.
boy howdy were gettin wasted!- William Hez
Yeah, me too. I'm not entirely sure if I want my $4.88 back -- I did for the first half of the movie, but then it just started to get funny. I love those movies where you can actually tell when the cast stops caring. And it's pretty obvious in this one.
I also realised about half-way through that this flick wasn't even original. I knew it reminded me of Ghost Rig and Deep Rising, then I realised it also smacked of Demonic Toys and Event Horizon. That's the downside of being a horror fan, I guess. Sooner or later, it all blends together into one really ... strange ... horror/sci-fi/unintentional comedy.
This ... is on right now on the "Space Channel". It's terrible! The kind of terrible that can't even be laughed at.
I wanted to see who was responsible for this so I could send mental daggers at them for wasting my time. I couldn't find it in a search here at IMDB. I finally tracked it down by a few of the actors. "The Thing Below" has been renamed "Sea Ghost". Obviously, from reading the posts of people with taste, this renaming was done to trick viewers warned away by friends into watching things piece of drek.
To bad shame is old fashioned because the people that made this kak should feel shame.
Thanks. I'll check it out.
shareI watched most of it on one of the Showtime channels last night. It was on at like 3AM so I fell asleep before it was over. I might DVR it next time it comes on just to catch the ending. The CGI was laughable and the acting pretty horrid but terrible sci fi movies like this are a guilty pleasure of mine.
shareI am watching the movie the first time as I type this. So far, a painful experience...but I am determine to finish it. oh gosh...no, she started dancing...I don't understand the reason for the erotic dance sequence in the movie. Now I am highly uncomfortable.
shareDid you watch it on Showtime last night? I finally caught the rest of the film then. I'm glad nothing else was on at the time cause it was terrible.
sharethe film was pretty bas (watched it this morning). Bad SFX, bad acting, bad stunts, bad screenplay, bad ending (hate those last moments when you don't understand a thing !) but it's not boring and the girl who played Maggie,Gianna Patton, was boombastic !!
Not the best Winorski flick but finally watchable if you like bad Z films...
I'm human !
No. You're a nicely engineered sextoy ! Deal with it !
A HEART UNDER PLASTIC BREASTS
however, this life destroying lifeform was extremely horny and the dressing room scene was completely believable.
and that man was going to fall over board for 5 minutes.
1/10
i'm pretty sure this is laughably bad, which is the one thing saving it from a perfect zero.

Alien genus: Separatus Ex-Wifeius?
I caught today on Netflix's streaming service. It truly deserves all the hate it gets. Horrible acting, CGI, plot. It's pretty bad.
shareI just saw it on DVD on Netflix. It was a very bad movie. There were some interesting parts. The ending was good. It wasn’t the worst horror movie I have seen but almost. No one will put this on their resume.
Have a great day
