Rahman and Maniratnam

Which are the Maniratnam films without rahman music? i simply love the way he directs his movies.. but I have a feeling the music plays a HUGE role in my appreciation of his work. i.e. i don't think i would've enjoyed Yuva half as much if the music hadn't been so amazing. It just BUILT the ambience, even covered some of the weak or draggy parts of the movie, and even made me feel nostalgic about the city..though the movie didn't really bring out the city or the people (to be fair, i don't think it purported to do so either).
but WHAT music!

Thats so true, but i guess its part of culture to take script and song hand in hand, its all part of the experience. The chemistry between mani ratnam and rahman has evidently worked well, so whats the harm in continuing this partnership if it almost guarantees success in the film industry? Totally agree buddy, the movie wouldnt hav been as good if the songs were dodgy.
