It's from the George Baker Collection and it's called Una Paloma Blanca... The original is made in 1975 and he made a 2005 remake for this movie. That's the one you here in the endtitels...

No, it's "Wonderfull life" which he aims for. He's saying female vocals and last time I checked George Baker was still a man :)
Wonderful life is a cover from the group Black but was also covered somewhat 8 years ago by another Dutch singer but forgot her name..

You call him lazy for not speaking Dutch, but yet you don't bother to type in English on a website where the visitors are of all kinds of languages. Makes no sense, does it? And why are you so sure that he knows Dutch? A lot of Dutch speakers also speak English, but it doesn't work the other way because Dutch is a very small language. If you happen to be someone from Russia or God knows where who happens to speak Dutch, that's an exception. Also, since Vet hard went to Cannes, it's bound to have been seen by people who don't speak Dutch.

Not all people who speak Dutch are "Nederlanders", and not all "Nederlanders" are "Hollanders". I myself am Flemish ("een Vlaming") and I enjoyed this film.
I do think it is wise to speak English here, although I might write in Dutch on boards like the "Thuis" board.
I'd like to add that Dutch is not a very big language (like Russian, Chinese, Hindi, English,..) but it isn't a very small language either. 16.5 million Dutch+6 million Flemings (and then I'm not even counting people from Surinam) makes Dutch pretty important in the European Union (only English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish have more speakers).
A very small language, that's like "Abkhaz" or "Kashubian".

@ Lulligvoorje, en ja dit gaat in het Nederlands want het gaat toch niet over de film en is voor de 2 Amerikanen de 3 Britten ( of zoiets) die hier zitten toch niet boeiend, Mathilde Santing is bi-seksueel aangezien ze ondertussen al een geruime tijd een relatie met een man heeft, ik denk vermeld het even en is dat misverstand ook weer de wereld uit.
