A question on that ill woman and the boxes

Yes, I must confess that I didn't understand that part fully (language barrier ??), i.e. what was the deal with those guys rushing with a wan and leaving boxes somewhere in the dessert-alike area (where Paul watches them), and what was the relation to that old and ill woman ??

They were bringing boxes to help her move out of her place... :-)

They were boxes of soap that were abandoned by the old Borax Factory. The same soap that the other character was trying to sell before he was shot. The poeple stealing the boxes were assumed to be the kids of the old woman.

I just saw this movie and i am pretty sure that those places in trona were metanfetamine factories, the lady might be addicted or very ill and the kids were dealers.... and the boxes were simply a way to carry the met... actually the paquistanese guy was looking some like a junkie when he get to the shelter to eat when the girl "meet" him.
Thats just my opinion....bad inglish...
