They changed some things from the original book...

...but it really doesn't matter at all, well, i think so:
-They changed the hour in the clock: according to the book it's always 4:30, but they decided to put 3:30 , i don't know why..
-Ferney is the one who kills Rosario, but according 2 the book he's actually dead when that scene happens.
They put some new scenes that fit properly the story.
It was a great movie with great performances!
oooooh, one thing more: i didn't like too much the "paisa accent" Unax Ugalde tried to make, it was quite hard for him and that's comprehensible 'cause he's not colombian.

I saw the clock mistake on the trailer off the website, I just thought they made a mistake and maybe they thought nobody would notice it... I can't wait to see the movie!!!!!!!!

reply

they changed the hour in the clock because, as you can see in the last scene of the movie, the hands of the clock looked as scissors, making an analogy according the title of the movie. if the hour would be 4:30, the hands wouldn't looked as it.

reply

Even if the hour is 4:30 or 3:30 it still is the image of the scissor, it doesn't change! That's not the reason they changed, that's the reason Franco puted it in his book!

reply

What!? Ferney kills Rosario?!

In the book doesn't some random guy kill her?

reply

I agree w/ u about UNAX accent!!! is just not what a paisa sounds like at all, From the begining of the movie I knew something was wrong! But o well who knows why they pick him!!!

reply

I liked the chnge of ferney killing rosario because it showed how the only thing thaT mattered for this kind of life is money, and it shows that although ferney loved rosario he killed her by orders of the druglords , also that she died with a kiss

GREAT ENDING

i*m in discord in ments that "rosario tijeras, the movie" is a great movie, in fact there are many errors in the compositing of this movie... the reason that the movie is regular is the direction, why mexican?? is obvious that him doesnt know traditional life of Colombia, if the movie was make for some local director the result had been other best, and according to the book, the hour is 4.30, ferney never kill to rosario, ferney die during the book, and the UnaxUgalde role's is very worst, he do not "paisa accent" it seems like that do "pastuso accent" (pastuso accent, accent that is able in the south of country) bla bla...

it could be a good movie, but it's failed... the good thing, the perfomance of rosario (Flora Mtnz)

reply

Just saw the movie...awesome. To anyone that read the book, was there any "other" significance of time always the same? Loved Flora's casting on the DVD
