I wouldn't have thought it possible to make such a boring movie focusing on two very attractive teenage lesbians. I guess it is.

shareIt's actually quite interesting.
Maybe you should just watch some pornography if you want an...*ahem* interesting plot line.
"I worship you, i need you, I w a n t you"[!]
It's not interesting. You are right though in that the writing on a porn movie would probably be better than this drivel.
shareAs far as the movie goes, (I've never read the book) I don't see where the two girls can be so easily tagged 'lesbians". As far as we know they hadn't had previous same sex relationships, and approached each other very... carefully when they first kissed. As I saw it, Mona had noone in the world. She felt her brother had jumped off the deep end, and the married man she had been seeing told her to bugger off. I saw their relationship, particularly at the very beginning one forged out of need for love they weren't likely to receive from anyone else. It seemed that Tamsin may have never taken anything serious in her life. She was a very troubled girl that lived a fantastical life. She lied about her sister in minute detail. She obviously faked the "Ouja board" scene. Mona was a plaything for her, nothing more, knowing all along she would be leaving back to school.
shareA man. Typical response and attitude.
