question about nudity

anyone else noticed that while Emily Blunt is shown nude in a number of scenes, Natalie Press is shown just for a split second during the scene at night when her brother comes looking for her.. did she refuse to film more nude scenes or was it intentional ?

The nudity in this film seemed very natural. As if they'd simply decided that they would be partially nude at some point and just filmed it.

In contrast with a lot of films where, when they insert a nude scene, you get the impression that everything - actor's positioning, clothing, props, camera angles, and lighting - is determined by what they have decided they will and will not show.

Everything is intentional in a film, because of having to match angles and take multiple shots. At some point a decision was made about the angles of nude shots and how much to reveal.

Natalie Press has a pretty good figure, and that is the only thing she has going for her. She certainly isn't pretty. I would think she would want to use the assets she has, but guess not.

I would hope not. You shouldn't base the cinematography around an actress' "no-nudity clause". It makes more sense to just get another actress. If an actor wants to play an American cop, but he's uncomfortable carrying a real gun and insists on using an obvious squirt gun, wouldn't it make more sense to replace him than accommodate him?

The "no-nudity clause" bs is less of a problem in Europe than in America. And males there are less likely to act like 15 year olds who have never seen a woman naked before. I think it all goes together.

What's this? You're comparing tits to squirt guns? Are you nuts?
