What kind of Dog did Alec come home to????

Does anyone know what kind of dog comes to greet Alec in his apartment when he get home and finds his jacket hanging on the door knob?

I think it is an Italian Greyhound wearing a sweater but can't tell for sure.
Anyone?????

I'm gonna go with an English Pointer because of it's thin, lean body and intermittent spots. It's a very good breed!

I think it is too small to be an English Pointer....anyone know for sure?
