WOW

This movie had me guessing all the way to the pivotal rooftop scene. Great twist. And as a GWM, what a yum sandwich that Marsden and Bradford make!!! Sorry for being sterotypical here, but HOT!!!!!!! Besides that point, great acting all around. Close in DIVA mode and Elizabeth Banks??? never heard of her but at first I thought Parker Posey is in this?

I didn't get quite to the "WOW" part but I liked this movie very much, except for the way too tidy ending...but I can live with the ending. Solid performances, good direction, and a nice screenplay adaptation. Yes, another "day in the life of" movie but it's one of the better ones.

Oh, and if you're stereotypical, you needn't apologize for it. Most folks are.

Personally, I've never understood the concern about gender preferences, or racial preferences either, for that matter. However, the way I see it, love whoever or whatever works best for you and don't worry about the rest of us. However, if burning at the stake becomes popular with the "only one way to live" fundamentalists again, go ahead and worry.

Yeah, I am also Gay and rented this movie not knowing it had any gay sub-plots. But with Jesse Bradford (who is not only attractive, but a good actor) in it I just had to get it. He has such a way about him that makes you want to watch him. All the great actors have it, and I feel he does.

Anywaaaays, it was a fascinating movie that keeps you watching to figure out what's really going on. The part where Marsden get's upset about the leather jacket made me realize that he must have had a thing with Bradfords character, which I was kind of wondering about up untill that point. They did a great job of hiding it. But when you look back, it was Jacob he was calling before the the reading for Glenn Close.

Great acting, good movie and fascinating story! These smaller budget films are starting to become more interesting than the big name ones. :)

James Marsden's character was Jonathan.

Hopelessly in love with Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Emmy Rossum

I agree, this film interested me throughout. The editing was divine - anyone know who workied on this film and what else s/he has done?

Highlights for me were Glen Close (obviously!) & Jesse Bradford shows there's a helluva lot behind his pretty face

I had a good feeling Jesse's character was gay. I love when people write little clues into the script. When he was reading for Glenn Close, he said he wasn't sure if the character was gay or not, and the writer responded, "he's gay, but not gay" that was such a wierd answer i knew it would play out to be a significant theme.

fantastik movie. I was very delighted, and can't wait to tell friends.

-besides, everyone dies all by himself.

Hey, if straight guys can be stereotypical by loving it when two women kiss, then I think straight women should have the right to be that way about two guys.
