This was filmed in my hometown...
Stony Plain, Alberta Canada... I can still remember seeing the Blue Ox pub outside my bedroom window. I would do anything to see it.

I remember when they filmed that in Stony! I actually attempted to be an extra.
shareI remember driving by that Blue Ox to go home (We lived on the Kulak farm just west of you at the time about 2 miles maybe?) and driving around your place (about a mile or so) when that blinding light was shining (Indicating they were shooting - so no one allowed to go down your road) I also remember seeing Kathy around town. Someone said they saw her at Bings, but I really doubt that... but who knows.
