Why does IMDB give the year 2003?

Thanks for the chance to see that, I only saw this in a list from the iMDB search for Fargo when was going to look at the big TV series board to check on season 3. I had no idea about this even though I saw the film back in the day and love the Coen's films.

Actually quite liked this and you could imagine it being a one of those warm, friendly shows with good characters we all love to sit down and enjoy with our better halfs. Although I'm sure it would probably ended up with a deeper storyline if given a series run this looked like the crime of the week stuff would have been funny and worth tuning in for at least.
