The 'Movie'

I live in Iceland and I kept an eye on the show "Next Action Star". I was wondering, did the show completely flop in the US? Because it was my understanding that there was going to be a big movie made with the two winners but all they got was some B-class TV movie. Was it because the ratings didn´t justify making a big movie?

The first poster was right. The ratings didn't justify any kind of expense on advertising for a theatrical release. Also the film and acting just wasn't that good.

I saw it on TV and I'm sure a DVD will be available someday.
