Most unsafe ship ever.

The cargo room is a complete death trap. Maybe some hand rails? Bigger catwalks? Any type of safety measure whatsoever? OSHA would *beep* them up.

At least it didn't have crushy chompy things.

Also, staggered ladders and steps not made of early 20th century brittle steel.

I had to lol at the step breaking too... Almost as hard as I lol'd at the guys last romantic "I love you!...." as he soars into the flaming "Rhea" below.

And they didn't seem too concerned either, walking between another person and the edge of the beams, even after their the death of the captain a few hours earlier in the same circumstances. Like they weren't actually walking on beams and were on a set instead. The director definitely screwed up there.

I agree - total death trap of a ship. But for me, it sorta lent itself to a more realistic future. Instead of star trek where everything is perfect.

You people seriously need to relax and enjoy a film. Who cares about such minor details? It's a movie it's not real life....just enjoy the ride.

In any case people weren't allowed in the cargo hold. It was clearly stated early in the film that it's too dangerous. Verboten!
