Getting Hold of archived 'oscars'

Does anybody know a way to watch any of the old academy awards? Was there a video that was released, or a way for students to watch old, archived academy award cerimonies? I have tried looking, but have had no luck. I am interested in seeing the 64th, when "Silence of the Lambs" took pretty much everything, but I am mostly wondering if anyone knows of a source that archives these. If anyone knew of a website that would be the easiest...

Thanks,
BC

At Blockbuster (I'm in Canada), you can rent it. It's all the Oscars on DVD... I think it's the whole ceremonie, or just parts, because there are 76 shows, but only 3 dvds. Hope this helps.

Well I have every Oscar Awards from 1986 ("Platoon" year - presented 1987) on tape. I too wish that whatever footage exists will soon be available on DVD - and i don't mean a compilation best of segments. (I also have the show where Olivier received his Lifetime Award but that is on Beta - enough said!).
