1957 version or 2007 version?

Original.

I know it's because how movies are made today, we have to find a happy ending,
but the original was to the point.

Also, I think Crow and Bale were miscast.

The remake was good, but the 1957 version was better.

2007 version for me. I love all of James Mangold's films and I think this is on par with the Coen brother's True Grit as one of the best Western remakes. I like the original too, though.

The remake. The original sucked. Glenn Ford was awesome but I never did like Van Heflin. I've rewatched the remake dozens of times.
