7.8 WTF?!?
This surely deserves a higher rating.
I can't think of something that will make you remember my quote.
7.8 is pretty solid rating on imdb considering the amount of unwarranted hatred almost every movie seems to get here.

7.8 is a pretty damn high rating on IMDb. You only have to look at some famous movies to figure that out.

shareAs noted, 7.8 is indeed a rating to be aspired to here on IMDB. This film, however, no matter how elegantly woven is the fabric of its tale of struggle and redemption, has its parts stitched together with stupid. It's like the Three Stooges go west, but now Moe is Ben Wade, and every time (constantly) one of the others does something stupid, instead of a poke in the eye, someone dies. Also, we're supposed to take it seriously. We all behave in stupid fashion at times - but no one in this posse seemed to take their own survival seriously. This apparently enchanting bad guy was given more opportunities to escape and cause mayhem than James Bond. Too painfully stupid for me to get to the inevitable moral.

no longer believe in IMDb ratings anymore, this film is not that good IMO, and it certainly does not deserve a 7.8 rating, while some really good films get blasted with 6's.
shareThis film is no more than a 4, and that's only because of the actors - but they must have been really desperate for work, because the script is so poorly written, the plot doesn't make any sense, and the characters completely unbelievable. Waste of my time...

I would think that most of the votes are consitently in the high 7s. It has many great elements, but no perfect ones
