Phil + Mindy Wheeler

I am not even going to attempt to list everything that is wrong with them - I am sure it's obvious to all, but really, what a pathetic yard sale! They made $2600?? That's less than most regular Clean House episodes make, and the other "messiest home" winners all sold close to $20k.

And no, it wasn't because they are so destitute, it was only because they refused to let go of most of their garbage.

"You know what you are? A shenaniganizer! A tomfool!"

reply

I agree. I just don't understand why they called if they refuse to get rid of stuff.

reply

Oh, I know why they called - to get their house professionally cleaned for them and to get a free full-house makeover! Can you imagine how much something like that costs?

I don't believe even for a second that those two have been rehabilitated.

was that the people who ended up with bins n bins sorted in their attic? And the lady cryed? Cuz if so I caught that one yesterday.

The fact that she cryed seems to be a sign that maybe they CAN come to terms with the fact they "hold on to" too much. They themselves had to admit that even though the rest of the house looked fabulous this one room fell short because THEY refused to let go. Hopefully the attic will be a wake up call to them to cut their **** (and hopefully they dont jsut resort to making the attic their "Crap Room" and cramming everything up there).

* If this is the wrong couple I apologize. ive been watchin it a lot lately but dont remember anyones names

reply

Yeah, that's the couple.

The woman cried at everything - it was really hard to take her seriously after a certain point.

And that those two want children frankly just scares me.

reply

Yeah I think they want to adopt, why would anybody want to give them a kid, they are so unstable, and you know eventually they are going to go back to the way it used to be, nobody wants to give a kid to somebody that lives like that.

reply

Did you see my other post, the one in response to yours? It's just that lately I am discovering that a lot of people on this site don't use the "nest" thread view (something I thought was a given), and there is often confusion as to who was saying what and in response to whom.

I should also have mentioned man-hours. Getting their house back in shape would have required A LOT of work, and Phil & Mindy seem allergic to it.
This way it was like the fairy godmother came to them and did it magically for them.
