Hi,

Does anyone know the name of the instrumental piece played in the trailer of the film? The trailer can be found at http://www.apple.com/trailers/.

Tanaya,

The song sounds like "Candela," which was also in Buena Vista Social Club (both the film/disk). The version on the trailer is slower though, perhaps Richy Pitch's rework of the song...

Hi,

The music in the trailer is a Cuban song called El Carretero which was arranged and recorded specifically for YES by Gonzalo Grau and Sally Potter.

There is a note about it on the www.yesthemovie.com message board.
