Good Movie, Bad Title

Let's just say that the only title worse and less representative (or misrepresentative) than "Yes" would have been "No". The cleaner sort of tried to convince us at the end there why they went with such a stupid title, but I just don't buy it, and I don't think it has anything to do with the rest of the movie.

Neither did the title Magnolia have any thematic concern with its film.

What does it matter?

I take the title "Yes" as being the answer to the question which Joan Allen asked God at the end of the movie.

"Can you forgive me for not believing in you"

Yes.
