I don't get the ending to this film...

The last few minutes of the film i didn't quite understand...and i bet they were quite meaninful too!

- Who was the person in the coffin after the 3 weddings?
-Who was being buried up on the hill, was it Nancy?
...i just didn't quite understand it.
Can someone please enlighten me!

The person in the coffin was Edward, and I believe the one who was being buried up on the hill was Nancy.
