theory: Kimberly's tears at the end are tears of joy(spoilers)

Most people feel she is crying at the end because after all the destruction she caused she still wasnt happy. I disagree with that idea. I believe kimberly was so unhinged she was overjoyed at the end. She got what she wanted,fame and the downfall of her "friends". She was glad randa died and happy that troy now hated Brittany . When she watches the interview with the school shooter she is not disturbed. She is actually in awe at how much they have in common. Kimberly relishes her wickedness. She loves being evil and hurting and manipulating others. The tears at the end are purely tears of joy. The devil wears a gray skirt my friends.

I couldn't agree more. She wasn't remorseful in the least. She got everything she wanted and was having tears of joy that she got the role in Dysfunction, got back at Brittany, and has a new life ahead of her, as an actress. I watched this with a few friends and most of them thought she finally got a conscious but no... we're talking about a sociopath here.

A person hates you because they either wanna be you, see you as a threat, or hate themself

I'm leaning towards agreeing with you, I don't she feeling remorseful. I need to watch it again though to pick up on all the little things I missed I missed the first time. One thing you said I don't get however is why would she be happy about Randa dying? In the movie she only referred to her as collateral damage.

No, I believe she was remorseful, or at the very least actually sad. She got what she wanted, but I think the consequences were more than what she expected, which is typical for teenagers. She certainly didn't want Randa to kill herself; remember, she told her dad "She shouldn't have done that." Also, the look on her face just before the end was anything but happy.

She definitely loved her ability to manipulate. Things in this just movie got out of her control.

I think she really did care about Randa.
She did mourn her death.
Remember how upset she was when she heard of Randa's suicide and during the argument with her father, she said on the verge of tears "She shouldn't have done that!"
Course her father blamed her.
I think when Kim refered to Randa as a casualty, she was trying to hide her emotion.
I think she really did like Randa because she always treated her well and was genuinely upset by her suicide.
