No real reason to the snot scene. It's a fun gag and for some people it's a slice of life. Haven't you ever been in the rest room alone and couldn't dig it out with the tissue? You resort to bare finger, hopefully you wash it after, but in this case David gets a taste. I think it adds to Tara's care free nature. How raw and uninhibited she is. But this is the Director/Writer in me making excuses. Bottom line I think a hot chick picking her nose is funny.
