Feedback and Pi

I found feedback to be a very similar film to Pi. It had some similar scenes, some similar illustrations, obviously different subject matter.. But I think that this film was better by a degree. This film had fewer plot holes (still plenty, just fewer :) and paid much, much more attention to the characters. Pi was shot in hard black and white and everything was veiwed through a skewed lense. This film used similar techniques, but sparingly and in good taste, so that the rest of the film built a baseline and the effect had meaning. The DTMF tones of the prototype phone are a good example, man those are creepy :) They are entirely out of the scope of the sound editing used on the rest of the film, and really cue the viewer that something something cataclysmic will happen. All of the characters are played with dimention, the narrative follows multiple people.
Well, I just wanted to get that all mentioned :) Enjoy the show.
