Filming Locations

Although IMDB says that this movie was filmed on location in Maryland and Virginia, the credits at the end of the move, which I just saw on TV, say it was filmed at various locations in British Columbia. Indeed, I live in DC and I wondered about the locations as I watched the movie. They did not look like the DC metro area. So I wonder which is right. I guess the producers rather than IMDB know where they filmed the picture, so I go with British Columbia.
