esy67 i agree with this some what. The part about the only thinking a white person will do this shows how myself and many others around the state of Maryland which im from only belive whites are serial killers. I really think we need to stop all race profiling for crimes.

Unfortunately racial profiling is in most respects a subconscious event that almost everyone (even the most liberal) does. When you see a car full of young black males pull up next to you and they are all wearing red bandannas and you get nervous, that is racial profiling. When you get nervous when the person next to you in an airplane has a turban and long-beard, and begins reaching for something in his bag, that is racial profiling. When you see a dirty looking white man in a beat up pickup truck and think "Redneck" you are racially profiling him. The whole "racial profiling" thing has gotten blown way out of proportion. Yes, 98% of serial killers are white. As a white male, do I get mad when law enforcement "profiles" my race and gender in a serial-killer investigation? Hell no. The majority of unsolved crimes are solved when the detectives use "instinct" (known by most newspapers and liberals as racial profiling) to catch bad guys. Please, get over your little self-enhancing diatribes and realize that "racial profiling" (or any profiling) is a part of life and has nothing to do with racism.

I agree with "uncmisterpink", who profiles as a gay or communist male at the Univ of North Carolina! Just kidding. Seriously though, the "political correctness" fanatics will always be over-ruled by common sense profiling for the greater good of society.

Yeah, but couldn't that have more to do with the way they dress than their skin color? I mean, what if they're all wearing regular clothes, or suits maybe? That's still superficial, but you get my point. All wearing the same bandana is something gang bangers are known to do. Sure, not necessarily, but since it's associated with gang bangers you'd think people who are not bangers would want to avoid being mistaken for them by dressing like them. I mean, you also don't go around dressing clothes commonly worn by white supremacists (in my country they often wear Lonsdale) when you aren't one and don't want to be mistaken for one (and if you're not, why would you want to be mistaken for one?).

I realize I'm like 6 years late on this post, but the truth is that the majority of serial killers are intelligent, relatively affluent white men in their thirties. It's not a racial profile, it's a criminal profile.

I don't know about the "98% of serial killers are white". Serial killer implies you've killed a person on multiple occasions. Now, I live inside the Beltway on the Maryland side, and the majority of the killing is done by blacks and Hispanics. And it's often not the first time they've killed people, because when these murderers are profiled on the DC news, they've been accused of or wanted on killing other people. Especially with the gangbangers and repeat-criminals, they've killed people before. They, too, can be considered serial killers. Now, if you want to talk about motive, method, etc, then there may be a difference between the races.

One of the sentences in the article. I stopped reading right there.

"especially when Islamic terrorism now threatens us in our homes."?????? Excuse me?

If this cheap sentimentalization of deep matters is the way quality press the matter, we are more than screwed.

That's right-wing crap. It's obvious. Look at the ads and the site itself, and what the writer is complaining about.

While it's possible some of that may be true, the whole truth will not be found on that web site. Look elsewhere should you decide to research the facts of the matter.
