lol I came to the boards to ask the reverse of your question.
I didn't like casino royale after seeing it back in 2006 and I still didn't like it after just having watched it again. Should I try the rest of the Craig Bond movies or are they all done in the same fashion?
Skyfall was cool with the whole James bond has fallen apart and is out of shape and has to prove himself again plot
The Quantum movie was imho the worst of the four, but still enjoyable if you like bond movies

I think Casino is a bit better than the two your mentioned. There's still too much of the dour, snotty, female M, but she's not the centerpiece of the whole darn movie like she was in Skyfall.
shareI think Casino Royale was one of best Bonds. I highly recommend it. When you see it, you'll forget Sean, Roger, George, Timothy, and Pierce what's-their-names.
I thought one less bomb maker in the world would be a good thing.
No way to know unless you watch it. I say give it a try, Casino Royale is directed by a different director and in my opinion atmospherically feels a bit different.

Thats how I feel. Casino is different and has very few fun moments but it isnt the worst movie ever. Just not my type of movie or bond. But I liked SkyFall A lot more.

Terrible movie. Sure it could be fun as a popcorn movie but the problem is that they try to make it based on realism which is anything but.
I thought Spectre was terrible. Awful writing, especially with the Blofeld bananza. Each Craig sequel has got worse and worse for me.
I loved Casino Royale though. Just finished watching it again, fantastic film.
I love how it ends so classic Bond, leaving you wanting more. But the sequels didn't deliver for me.
I just finished watching Casnino Royale. I think I saw it when it first came out 10 years ago, but I hardly remember it. Spectre and Skyfall are still fresh in my mind. Having said that, Casino Royale is vastly superior than both of them. I'm not sure why the latest 2 bond movies were so terrible compared to this one. I think they take themselves too seriously. Casino Royale has the perfect Bond tone out of all of them. I'm still kinda blown away after just watching it.
