Who's your fav Bond girl ?

Mine is Stacey Sutton : I know most people hate her, but I like her for the following reasons :

Everytime a new actress takes on the role of a Bond Girl, she always states that her character is "a different kind of girl", "very equal to Bond" or that "she can use a gun".

Fine...but these are not "special" or "different" at all. In fact, almost every Bond girl has been a "strong", "fighting" leading lady.

Stacey Sutton, portrayed by Tanya Roberts, was actually a REAL different kind of girl : she wasn't a secret agent, an exotic beauty living on an island, the mistress of some villain or a dangerous femme fatale.

For a change, she was just a normal person, an "everyday people" and this is nice, for reality and credibility sake.
She was a San Francisco citizen, workin in geology field and living in her family estate. She became involved in an adventure she didn't ask for.

So of course she wasn't as brave or competent as a CIA or MI-6 agent, but she did the best she could to help Bond, and faced events with braveness.

Plus, she's beautiful and was, at the time, one of the sexier actress around.

Mine rhymes with yours, and that is Tracy. As far as different Bond girls go, she has to be the most different. And she's the one that stole Bond's heart.

Melina. Has an actual story outside of dating Bond (avenging her dead dad, or tracking down who killed him or something), and was actually competent and badass (I think she even saves Bond at one point, could be wrong), all of which are basically unheard of traits for most Bond girls.

Interesting choice, and I like your reasoning.

I'd say mine is somewhat of a bit player. She was in Dr. No, and From Russia with Love. Her character's name was Sylvia, played by Eunice Gayson. I liked her playful attitude towards Bond. I don't think she really took him seriously, and she was just looking for a good time. She was also really cute.

As for main character type Bond Girls, I'd go with Daniela Bianchi in From Russia with Love. She was deceived by Kleb to perform a basic double agent type mission, but then decided to help Bond. Also, she was smokin' hot too.

Eva Green (Vesper) from Casino Royale was great. Kara from The Living Daylights. Melina from For Your Eyes Only. Tracy from OHMSS, and of course Pussy Galore from Goldfinger, she was sexy and it was cool that she was 39 at the time, always loved more mature women.
