Consolation Prize

Is there some sort of lesser money reward for those who are asked to leave (ala "Survivor") or does one guy just get the full $100,000 and everyone else didly-squat?

If it is the latter, those bible-thumpers who refuse to participate in any of the events might as well quit now since they're most definitely getting eliminated.

I don't think there is a material consolation prize, I think the whole idea is the change who you are, the money is just a bonus. I think Eric is on his way to changing, in tonights episode he stood up Art when they were at the grocery store, I thought that was pretty cool. :)

I think it's the latter, Sci-Fi is way too cheap, just look at the jackpot!

I'm still bitter about them canceling MY favorite show.....

If you mean "Farscape", know how you feel, at least we made enough of a beef to get The Peacekeeper Wars.

With reality shows there is a stipend for being on the show, where they all get money for their loss of a salary not being at their normal job...

I have no clue as to how much it is now... Only thing I know is that on "Big Brother: Season 2" (2001), there was a conversation... Hardy had said that with being in the house so long, that the stipend of $600 a week was actually causing him to lose money he would normally make at his normal job.. He agreed to be on the show and thought that he would have been voted off earlier, so being on the show was for kicks at the beginning, and he didn't need the money (doing the show for fun).. During this conversation which occured much later in the season, he wanted to win because of his claiming he was losing too much money being in the house instead of working for so long...
