Season Two is now on the air!

The new season of Chilly Beach premieres October 5, 5:30 EST on CBC. The show will continue to run at this timeslot every Tuesday, right after the The Simpsons.

According to www.chillybeach.com, they've produced 26 new episodes for the season. They'll also have some guest voices including David Suzuki and SCTV alums Andrea Martin and Joe Flaherty.

The site has a couple of previews available, and I have to say, it looks pretty good! The animation is smoother and the backgrounds are more detailed than before.

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what they come up with this year. I find it's a very clever, original, well-written show, certainly as good as or better than many U.S. equivalents.
